CEBIS is part of a statewide effort to develop and support varied engaging professional learning opportunities surrounding Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA) and Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) development, aligned with the Functional Behavior Assessments and Behavior Intervention Plans: Guidelines for Effective Development and Implementation.

Outreach

CEBIS worked with the Virginia Partnership for Out-of-School Time (V-POST) to present a series of workshops in the summer and fall of 2024 on behavior supports and strategies for out-of-school time programs.

A group of black and white checklists for out of school time learning environments. Items are included to cover physical environment, social environment, rules/expectations, and prior learning history.
A group of black and white summaries of teaching strategies for out of school time learning environments. Strategies described are clear teaching, prompting, and reinforcement.
